Senior Fair

Deadline for Submission of SRC Forms Requiring Pre-Approval**
Projects requiring pre-approval that are not submitted by January 15 will not be allowed entry into the FRSEF.

2023 Flint Regional Science and Engineering Fair (Preliminary Schedule)
Friday
- 12:00 - 3:00 School setup (by appointment)
- 3:00 - 6:00 Project setup (open to all)
Saturday - Senior
- 7:15 - 8:15 Setup (for special circumstances, and by prior request only)
- Setup is only allowed during the allocated times and must be complete by the end of the setup window for your division. Plan accordingly.
- All Senior Projects must be set up by 8:15, regardless of Judging Pod.

- 8:45 - 12:00 Senior Judging (all Senior Finalists have been assigned a Judging Pod)
- Finalists
- You will have two presentations. Each presentation will be in a different room (ex. Room 1 @ 9:00 and Room 2 @ 9:24)
- Presentation time: 10 minutes total
- It is highly recommended that you do 6 minutes max of presentation and 4 minutes for Q & A
- Format: the presentation that you submitted for preliminary judging will be used and will be on a large screen for the judges to view.
- The presentation will already be loaded onto the PC.
- There will be a clicker in each room so you can stand by the screen.
- Display items can be brought in => prototypes, model, graph print offs, pictures, etc

- Will I still set up a project display => yes!
- Non-Finalists
- Line up by the exhibit hall entryway ~ 8:45.
- Your judge will meet you in line and you will walk them to your project.
- Please repeat meeting a judge multiple times to gather more feedback and show off your work!

Junior & Elementary Fair

- At 9:35 students will start lining up in 2 lines
- 1 Finalist line
- You will be let in as a group and walk to your project and remain at your project until dismissed.
- Please remain at your project until dismissed, there will be multiple judges.
- 1 Non-Finalist line.
- Your judge will meet you in line and you will walk them to your project.
- Following judging, your judge will dismiss you
- 2:00 - 3:45 Junior Public Viewing
Saturday - Elementary
- 9:30 - 10:45 Elementary Project Setup (for special circumstances, and only by prior request)
- Setup is only allowed during the allocated times and must be complete by the end of the setup window for your division. Plan accordingly)
- 11:00 - 12:00 Elementary Judging (please arrive 30 minutes prior)
- At 10:50 all Elementary students please start lining up outside of the hall. You will be let in as a group and walk to your project and remain at your project until dismissed.
- Please remain at your project until dismissed, there will be multiple judges
- 2:00 - 5:00 Elementary Public Viewing
Sunday - Elementary & Junior
