Hosting a Local Science Fair

If you would like to host a school science fair here are some steps to take:

  1. Schedule your local school science fair at least a week ahead of the Flint Area Science Fair.
  2. Review our Rules and Regulations. It is the teacher’s responsibility to know and understand these rules and insure student compliance. If there are questions about the rules, contact the FASF Director.   Questions can also be referred to the FASF scientific review committee.  Phone (810) 591-4442 or email fasfdirector@hotmail.com.
  3. The FASF can help arrange judges for your local fair. Please contact the fair director at fasfdirector@hotmail.com.
If you plan to host a local fair please keep in mind:
  1. The Block Registration process might be useful if your local school fair will be conducted near the FASF fair date.  
  2. Student registration for FASF.  Completed application forms must be submitted as soon as possible after your local fair but no later than a week before the Flint Area Science Fair. Please have each student who will be competing in the Flint Area Science Fair fill out an application form. Mail applications to: 2413 W.
