2011 Flint Area Science Fair Calendar Dates to Remember - Fri. Feb. 11, 2011: Last Day for Block Reservations (local fair directors use only)
- Fri. Feb. 18, 2011: Last day for applications postmarked without penalty
- Mon. Feb. 21, 2011: Last day for Electronic applications to be received to avoid late fee
- Mon. Feb. 28, 2011: Last day applications accepted with late fee
- Mar. 4-7, 2011 : 2011 FLINT AREA (Regional) SCIENCE & ENGINEERING FAIR
· Fri. Mar. 4, 2011: Project set-up between 3:00-6:30 pm at Kettering University. Setup Deadline: 6:30 pm, Preliminary Judging · Sat. Mar. 5, 2011: Judging interviews in the morning, open viewing in the afternoon, (usually 2:00 p.m.) ·Sun. Mar. 6, 2011: o 1:30p Elementary Award Ceremony o 3:15p Junior & Senior Award Ceremony, open viewing and media interviews · Mon. Mar. 7, 2011: Projects on display for school field trips. · Mon. Mar. 7, 2011: Project removal 3:00-7:00 pm. Project Display Area teardown begins at 7:00 pm sharp!! - Sat. Apr. 9, 2011: Michigan State Science & Engineering Fair (Tentative)
- May 8-13, 2011: International Science and Engineering Fair in Los Angeles, CA for the top two FASF Senior Division Winners and two freshman/sophomore student observers.
