Dates to Remember

  • Fri. Feb. 8, 2008: Last Day for Block Reservations (local fair directors use only)
  • Fri. Feb. 22, 2008: Last day for applications postmarked without penalty
  • Mon. Feb. 25, 2008: Last day for Electronic applications to be received to avoid late fee
  • Mon. Mar. 3, 2008: Last day applications accepted with late fee
  • Mar. 7-11, 2008: 2008 FLINT AREA SCIENCE & ENGINEERING FAIR
  • Fri. Mar. 7, 2008: Project set-up between 3:00-6:30 pm at Kettering University. Setup Deadline: 6:30 pm, Prelim Judging
  • Sat. Mar. 8, 2008: Judging interviews in the morning, open viewing in the afternoon, (usually 2:00 p.m.)
  • Sun. Mar. 9, 2008:
    • 1:30p Elementary Award Ceremony
    • 3:15p Junior & Senior Award Ceremony, open viewing and media interviews
  • Mon. Mar. 10, 2008: Projects on display for school field trips.
  • Tues. Mar. 11, 2008: Projects on display for school field trips.
  • Tues. Mar. 11, 2008: Project removal 3:00-7:00 pm. Project Display Area teardown begins at 7:00 pm sharp!!
  • Sat. Apr. 5, 2008: Michigan State Science & Engineering Fair at Kettering University, Flint
  • May 11-17, 2008:International Science and Engineering Fair in Atlanta, GA for the top two FASF Senior Division Winners and two freshman/sophomore student observers.
