Lois Gagnon—winner of Michigan State Fair & Physics Award Winner at ISEF

Five students from the Flint Regional Science Fair attended the 2011 INTEL International Science & Engineering Fair in Los Angeles.  In only the second time in ISEF history, two students from the same regional fair won 1st Place and Best in Category--our own Matthew Bauerle and Nithin Tumma. 

Lois Gagnon, who won the opportunity to compete at ISEF by winning the Michigan Science & Engineering Fair, won a Special Award in Physics and had lunch with Nobel Laureates.

Jay Mehta and Bryce Timmons, both 9th graders, attended ISEF as Observers.
